Introduction to International Arbitration (2026)
This introductory program is designed for students and junior practitioners interested in developing their knowledge of ADR.
Successful completion of both the course and exam will allow you to apply for Associate (ACIArb) membership with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Participation and attendance on both days is required in order to be eligible to sit the exam.
McGill Construction Dispute Mock Cross-Examination Case Competition
12 law and engineering students at McGill University will put their skills to the test through mock cross-examinations centred on a construction dispute, before a tribunal of three experienced industry professionals.
Following the mock cross-examinations, we invite CIArb members, colleagues, and industry professionals to join us for drinks and light bites at Thomson House on McGill campus. This is an opportunity to meet emerging talent, connect with fellow professionals, and learn about the Québec Chapter’s upcoming initiatives.

Please join the CIArb Canada Young Members Group (YMG), LCIA Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG), and Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP) for an afternoon of drinks and canapés to socialize and wind down after the main CanArbWeek programming concludes.
