I exclusively practice energy regulatory law in oil, gas and electricity matters at Regulatory Law Chambers (RLC), a boutique law firm I founded in 2008. RLC has won several Energy and Regulation Law Firm of the year and Most Innovative Law Firm awards and publishes the monthly Energy Regulatory Report newsletter. I have personally received regulatory lawyer of the year awards, including the Energy (Electricity) Lexpert Zenith Award, for thought leadership and the Lawyer Monthly Women in Law Award - Global Regulatory Lawyer of the year. I have extensive regulatory hearing experience both before the National Energy Board and the Alberta regulators related to regulated tolls and tariffs matters, market rule development and energy facilities approvals. I have acted as counsel in contested court applications, trials, appeals and Supreme Court of Canada matters, including being counsel on leading upstream oil and gas issues. I am a candidate for the Queen's executive masters in business administration, class of 2018.
