Biography
Felix Yuen is the principal of Fruba IP Law & Strategy, a commercial IP boutique based in Ottawa, Canada, focusing on IP commercialization, licensing, portfolio strategy, enforcement, and dispute resolution support. Felix is dual-qualified as a solicitor in Ontario and in England & Wales, and holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the University of Turin and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He also serves as IP Advisor at the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre (HBEC) at Georgian College, supporting entrepreneurs and growth-stage companies with IP strategy.
Felix brings approximately 15 years of global IP experience spanning in-house counsel, brand portfolio management, copyright licensing, and cross-border IP advisory roles. He is an active member of the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), and the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), in addition to sitting on the CIArb Canada YMG Committee.
