On Thursday, September 28th of this year, the Canada Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators held its 5th Annual Symposium at The Albany Club in downtown Toronto.
This year’s Symposium considered the topic, Domestic & International Arbitration in Canada:
What’s Happened and What’s Next? and involved an award presentation honouring Thomas Heintzman for Distinguished Service in Arbitration in Canada.
We are delighted to announce the formation of CIArb Canada, a branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
The Canadian Branch of the CIArb will launch on July 1, 2017. The Branch, known formally as “The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Canada) Inc.” has been registered as a not-for-profit Canadian corporation. Membership will comprise all the CIArb members in good standing who reside in Canada – currently approximately 215.
